Rooted Arts CIC are seeking creative proposals for ‘A Passing Tale’ in North Lincolnshire. Creatives can be from any artform.

A Passing Tale is a place-based participatory arts programme delivered by Rooted Arts CIC, journeying along The Viking Way walking trail, on its 50th year of existence. Communities will engage through creative reflection, walking, and environmental storytelling within a series of events and activities. This is a unique opportunity for rural communities to engage in a larger creative project.

We are delighted to be able to offer four artists opportunities for A Passing Tale – Lead Artist x 2 and Supporting Artist x 2. This project has been made possible with the support of North Lincolnshire Council and The National Lottery Heritage Fund as part of Cultural Futures, a multi-year project to increase arts, heritage and cultural opportunities for North Lincolnshire.

Both briefs are below. Please note the following:

  • The lead artists should have a strong background in participatory work
  • The supporting artists should have some connection to the North Lincolnshire communities along The Viking Way (live/work/family links) but does not need participatory project experience

The deadline for all applications is Monday 27th April at 1pm.
