We believe that everyone should be able to explore their own creativity. Article 27 of the United Nation’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights has agreed since 1948 “Everyone has the right freely to participate in the cultural life of the community, to enjoy the arts…”.
Our ‘Everyday Creativity’ projects give opportunities to take part in regular creative activity within public spaces or community buildings. Most of the time, these have no cost at the point of access, reducing barriers to participation. Activities have a positive effect on mental wellbeing as well as many other benefits.

The Lincoln Dancing project gives you the opportunity to move, dance and connect, through a series of 20 pop up dance sessions in summer 2024. These are free and open to all, taking place on streets, in green spaces and in partnership with organisations. There’s something for everyone!
The project is supported by City of Lincoln Council through an Events Tourism and Culture Small Grant.
Launched in September 2024, this group of makers, crafters and creative friendly faces work on their own projects, have a go at something new and make friends. There are basic materials available but participants also bring their own to this weekly session. On the first Wednesday of each month a guest maker brings their expertise to share with the group.
Moorland Makers is free for participants, supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England. The project is also supported by Voluntary Centre Services as part of their Moorland Community Development Project, with funding from UK Shared Prosperity Fund via City of Lincoln Council.
